About Us
HAPCO is located in a 200,000+ square foot facility in Abingdon, VA, where we've been located since 1962.This entire facility, and our entire organization for that matter, is dedicated to providing our customers the very highest quality of aluminum products for use in the Commercial & Industrial, Electric Utility, Department of Transportation, and Original Equipment Manufacturing markets.
Though we've been in Virginia since 1962, our heritage and experience goes back even further.
In fact, we trace our beginning back to Hubbard and Co., a manufacturer of steel hardware for the electric utility market. This product line was gradually eliminated in favor of aluminum light poles and brackets and the company name changed accordingly to HAPCO (Hubbard Aluminum Products Co.). With the change in name came a change in location from Pittsburgh, PA to our present location in Abingdon, VA.
